I have specialist process, system and organisational experience in the following business transformation areas:
- Outsourcing of transactional finance to offshore providers (e.g. Purchase to Pay, Fixed Assets, Travel Expenses, Record to Report)
- Move to centralised HR shared services with new organisation structure
- Improvement projects in shared services: e.g. rationalisation of suppliers, data improvement, new KPI reporting and charging models
- Implementation of centralised FMCG supply chain model with accountability for procurement, stock and distribution management moving to a new central supply chain company
- European system implementations in SAP, Siebel CRM and Peoplesoft combined with process improvement, process centralisation or organisational change
- Integration management and process harmonisation in SAP following a merger, disposal, acquisition, or other continuous improvement project
- PMO management in ERP and/or shared service implementations
It was my passion for continuous improvement which drove me into project management 16 years ago starting with SAP ERP Financials. From then onwards the projects and programmes became larger, multinational, more complex and extended into IT, HR, supply chain and customer management, frequently working with consultants from firms such as Accenture, IBM and PwC.
